Lighthouse Blog Prologue
…say that fast five times…
First, WELCOME If you are new to this blog. Second, WELCOME if you are ready for the
sequel of “What are Medina Countians doing in the Lighthouse?”
While we had to admit our first shot at lighthouse keeping
was a lot of work, Teare and I also came home with fond memories of our time at
Battery Point during the month of June, 2016.
We agreed that the people associated with the Del Norte Historical
Society, volunteers, and the visitors
themselves were our favorite part of the experience. When Dottie, the lighthouse volunteer
supervisor, asked if we could return this year, we happily accepted.
You will note that we are simply adding to the existing blog
site rather than beginning a new site.
If you did not tune in last time, you can go back and see what
transpired in 2016. Unlike two years
ago, this is not an Olympic year for Track and Field, so we will not be heading
to the US team trials. Another slight
change will be that if there is not much to report on a given day (i.e. we
cleaned the first two floors), we will store up our notes and publish 2 or 3
times a week as opposed to every day.
Otherwise, we welcome you on this adventure and thanks for tuning in!
Best Regards,
Bill & Teare
I’m happy to report I’ve finished the 2016 blog and am up to date and ready for this upcoming adventure in “real time”. I’m anxious to see how Fred is doing & whether or not he remembers you. 🐦
